These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Factlace website and AI verification platform (the "Services") provided by Factlace ("Factlace", "we", "us", or "our").

By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are using the Services on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.

2. Use of the Services

You may use the Services only in compliance with these Terms and all applicable laws. You are responsible for any activity you carry out through the Services.

• Do not use the Services to violate any law or the rights of others.
• Do not attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Services.
• Do not misrepresent Factlace Score results or use them to deceive third parties.

3. Verification results

The Factlace Score and related assessments are provided to support your own review processes. While we strive for accuracy, verification results are informational and do not constitute legal, financial, medical, or professional advice. You remain responsible for decisions made using the Services.

4. Intellectual property

The Services, including all software, content, and the Factlace Score methodology, are owned by Factlace and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to our trademarks or branding without prior written consent.

5. Commercial terms

Factlace is currently pre-launch and the Services are not yet generally available. Commercial terms will be published at launch.

6. Disclaimers

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Factlace will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits or data, arising out of or related to your use of the Services.

8. Termination

We may suspend or end your access to the Services at any time if you breach these Terms or if we discontinue the Services. When access ends, your right to use the Services will cease.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain, and any disputes relating to them will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Spain.

10. Changes to these terms

We may modify these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be indicated by updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
